The Simply the Best award has been recognizing and rewarding creativity, innovation, and the development and improvement of tourism offerings in Croatia for 15 years. It is awarded by the Association of Croatian Travel Agencies (UHPA) and the PUT Tourism exchange, and is intended for entities that significantly contribute to enriching the tourism experience through their work.
The awards are given according to the following concept:
In each category and group, a shortlist of entities has been selected, to receive the Simply the Best plaque.
One of them is announced as the winner of the category (announced during the award ceremony) and receives the special Simply the Best 2025 plaque.
In the "Person" category, all awards are equal and are presented in the form of a plaque.
The awards will be officially presented on April 9, 2025, in Toplice Sveti Martin, as part of the opening of the 25th PUT tourism exchange.
This year, the Simply the Best award is presented in the following categories:
- Hospitality – establishments offering local cuisine and accommodation
- Travel Agencies – innovative and creative travel programs
- Events – events that promote heritage, culture, tradition, recreation, and entertainment
- Culture and Education – visitor centers and museum institutions that enrich the tourism offering
- New Tourism Projects – original concepts that enhance the tourism sector
- Individuals – people who have made significant contributions to tourism
- Destinations – tourism destinations divided into three groups: continental, coastal, and island
- Souvenirs – authentic products representing cultural and traditional heritage
